Haulfre Gardens was originally designed by, and was the home to the creator of the famous Bodnant Garden, Henry Davis Pochin. In the 1860's the gardens were laid out and this is where Pochin pursued his passion for gardening. Remodelled in 1995, these beautiful homes sit in the heart of the gardens and have been tastefully updated. The two cottages now provide superior guest accommodation with amazing views for up to 8 people.
However busy life gets, these are two unique homes in such a peaceful setting that you cannot help but pause and sigh. With spectacular views spanning the bay of Llandudno you can relax in the knowledge that you’re staying in some of the finest homes in the area.
In this semi-tropical paradise, the split-level roof terrace with its dining and relaxation areas is the perfect place to sip champagne. Soak up the warm sun and watch the gulls soar below you over the rooftops to the shore. As night falls, throw some logs onto one of the wood burners, curl up on the cosy sofa and watch the twinkling lights of the town from the comfort of the first floor sitting room. Life simply doesn’t get any better than this.
With Victorian charm at the turn of each corner, leave your car at home and take the short walk into Llandudno. Explore the narrow streets of the old town along the way before arriving in the bustling centre. With its wide pavements, ornate Victorian awnings, beautifully preserved architecture and a wonderfully curved promenade - Llandudno is truly the Queen of the Welsh Riveria.
